Starting Steps

Starting steps are a decorative component at the bottom of the stairway that replaces the first tread and riser. There are many configurations available such as single bullnose, double bullnose, bowed, quarter-circle, and half-circle designs. Custom stacked starting steps can also be made to specific specifications upon request. Starting steps are available in 14 standard and custom wood species, and additional species can be quoted.
